Passione Natura UVA Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2024
Trebbiano d’Abruzzo UVA is a natural white wine lovingly crafted in the rolling hills of Abruzzo, Italy, by Passione Natura. Made from 100% Trebbiano grapes, it captures the purest expression of its coastal terroir, shaped by the Adriatic breezes and sun-drenched slopes. This wine is the result of passion, collaboration, and respect for the land.
Passione Natura is the vision of Eric Narioo—husband of Anna Martens of Vino di Anna—and a collective of independent winegrowers known as U.V.A. (Unione Vignaioli Abruzzesi). Their philosophy is rooted in biodynamic farming and traditional winemaking, ensuring every bottle is an honest reflection of place. No pesticides are ever used, and intervention in the cellar is minimal, with only a touch of sulphur added at bottling to preserve the wine’s integrity. The result is a wine that feels alive in the glass—vibrant, expressive, and deeply connected to its origins.
On the palate, this Trebbiano offers a delicate interplay of savoury and saline notes, supported by a soft mineral backbone. Gentle hints of ripe melon and fresh herbs weave through, adding layers of complexity to its clean, refreshing finish. Elegant yet quietly distinctive, it is a natural pairing for seafood, light pasta dishes, or a simple plate of burrata drizzled with olive oil. This is Trebbiano d’Abruzzo as it should be—authentic, soulful, and brimming with character.
