Nyetimber’s Classic Cuvee is one of those wines that really shows how far English sparkling has come. Made entirely from estate-grown fruit - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier - it’s a blend of different vintages, with some reserve wines going back more than a decade. That layering gives it plenty of character without losing its freshness or drive.

The fruit comes from vineyards across Sussex, Hampshire and Kent, planted on classic chalk and greensand soils. Long, slow ripening is the key here - helped by the cool climate - which builds flavour while keeping everything crisp and well-shaped. The wine spends over three years on lees before release, adding just the right amount of richness to the citrus and orchard fruit core.

It’s elegant but easy-going, with enough complexity to impress but never trying too hard. A great pick for celebrating something special - or just making a regular moment feel a bit more memorable.
