The Terrasses de l'Empire cuvée is primarily aged in truncated conical wooden vats, on its fine lees. Only a small portion (approximately 10%) is aged in barrels for eight months. This choice of aging in vats proves particularly relevant given the recent vintages, which have often been rich and powerful in this appellation.

The nose is expressive and refined, revealing aromas of white peach, ripe apricot, and white flowers such as acacia and jasmine. Subtle notes of candied citrus peel and a touch of honey enrich the bouquet.

On the palate, the attack is ample and velvety, offering a lovely roundness. Stone fruit flavors blend harmoniously with spicy nuances and a saline minerality. The finish is long, fresh, and balanced, leaving a delicate and lingering impression.
