Perched above the hamlet of Escolles, Le Monté is a unique 0.94-hectare parcel facing southwest on a gently sloping plateau. Its clay-limestone soils are rich in flint, lending the wine striking minerality and finesse.

The 2023 vintage, shaped by a cool spring and a balanced summer of heat and rain, ripened steadily and cleanly. The result is a finely structured Chardonnay with bright energy, subtle power, and clear expression of its flint-rich terroir.
