From the heart of the Verzé valley, Les Chênes is a striking expression of Mâconnais terroir, drawn from 3.43 hectares of southwest-facing vineyards planted on shallow clay-limestone soils over bedrock. The 2023 vintage follows the acclaimed 2022 with a generous and beautifully balanced harvest. A cool spring, alternating summer heat and rainfall, and a carefully timed harvest produced a wine of tension, ripeness, and precision — a vibrant Chardonnay that reflects both place and pedigree.
