Domaine Mure Cremant d’Alsace Brut NV
The Mure family’s winemaking legacy in Alsace dates back to 1650. A Domaine steeped in tradition, exalted in passion, expertise and an unwavering commitment. For over three and a half centuries, generation after generation they have nurtured the vines, mastering the delicate balance between heritage and innovation.
Nestled in the heart of Alsace’s picturesque vineyards, the Muré estate has become synonymous with wines of exceptional quality and character. Each bottle is a testament to the family’s deep-rooted connection to the land and their pursuit of excellence.
Alsace’s naturally long ripening season is amplified by Muré’s exceptional south-facing slopes, and stony clay-limestone topsoil with a subsoil of Oligocene conglomerates with oolitic limestone pebbles. These are exciting wines, abundant in flavour, opulence & lacy acidity.
The new generation, Veronique and Thomas, the twelfth, is taking this magnificent Domaine to even newer heights.
Coming from plots cultivated in organic agriculture, this Crémant d'Alsace is from different grape varieties: Pinot Blanc (25%) Pinot Auxerrois (25%) Pinot Gris (20%) Riesling (20%) Chardonnay (5%) and Pinot Noir (5%).
The vines are planted in the Rouffach region, on soils dominated by limestone, suitable for the production of fine and elegant creamy base wines.
