Domaine des Comtes Lafon, established in the late 19th century in Meursault, Burgundy, is renowned for its exceptional white wines. Under Dominique Lafon's leadership from 1985, the estate reclaimed its vineyards from sharecropping and transitioned to organic farming in 1995, achieving biodynamic certification by 1998. Today, the domaine spans approximately 16.3 hectares across Meursault, Volnay, Monthélie, and Chassagne-Montrachet, producing wines that reflect the purity and complexity of their terroirs. Now led by the fifth generation, Léa and Pierre Lafon, the estate continues its legacy of crafting wines that are both expressive and age-worthy.
