Domaine Armand Rousseau Dinner 16th July 2026 Sydney 6.00pm
United Cellars Presents: An Evening with Domaine Armand Rousseau
Thursday 16 July 2026 | 6.00pm | The Cut Bar & Grill Private Dining
An intimate evening dedicated to one of Burgundy’s most revered estates, Domaine Armand Rousseau, awaits in the private dining room of The Cut Bar & Grill in Sydney on Thursday 16th July 2026. Limited to just ten guests, this rare dinner offers a remarkable opportunity to explore the depth, precision and longevity that have made Rousseau a benchmark for Grand Cru Pinot Noir.
Angus Hughson will guide guests through an extraordinary line-up drawn from the hallowed vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin. Champagne on arrival sets the tone before the first course introduces the elegance and layered complexity of Charmes-Chambertin, presented in the 2013 and 2014 vintages.
From there the wines deepen in stature. The second course explores the contrasting personalities of Clos de la Roche 2010 and Ruchottes-Chambertin 2010, a pairing that reveals both the muscular structure and haunting perfume that define the northern Côte de Nuits.
The third course turns to the aristocratic Clos de Bèze, poured in the celebrated 2010 vintage alongside the poised and refined 2014. Here, the wines begin to show the profound harmony and depth that place Rousseau among Burgundy’s most collectible producers.
The evening culminates with the estate’s crown jewel, Chambertin Grand Cru, served in the 2011 and 2014 vintages. Few wines capture the power, gravitas and age-worthy beauty of Pinot Noir quite like Chambertin from Domaine Armand Rousseau.
Paired with a menu crafted by The Cut Bar & Grill, this dinner promises a rare exploration of Burgundy at its most profound, shared among a small group of passionate collectors and enthusiasts.
