Anthony Barton's second growth is always a top quality Bordeaux of classic proportions. Structured, Cabernet Sauvignon dominated wines are produced here that are serious, controlled and pure.

A deep and complex nose, filled with aromas of blackberry, raspberry, juicy plums, cigar box and leather, graphite and some dried herbs. The palate is generous in fruit, with great concentration, firm tannins and bright acidity. An impressive, harmonious wine that will no doubt be a show-stopper with a few years of age on it.
