Named after the ever-shifting tectonic plates and the unique geomorphology of Chile that causes eruptions and originally led to the formation of the Andes range and the volcanoes for which this Carmenere is produced.
Bodega Volcanes is headed by Pilar Diaz who is attracted to the wines created on soils from Chilean Volcanoes give their wine an edge that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world - Which makes the wines more vibrant and richer with greater complexity
COLOR: Deep violet.
AROMA: : Presents aromas of tobacco, roasted coffee and graphite, accompanied by black fruits and spicy notes, typical of Carménère.
MOUTH: Fresh, expressive, and very fruity, with flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cassis; notes of black pepper, nutmeg, chocolate and subtle touches of menthol surface. Soft and tasty, with well structured tannins, and very elegant. Long and velvety finish.
